Methodology
We show our working.
Foql uses observable market activity to suggest creative patterns worth testing. The same evidence accompanies the idea in the web app and through a connected agent. Here is what the signals mean and where their limits sit.
Start with the source.
Foql draws on supported public ad and commercial-content sources. Coverage depends on the source, geography, and type of content. Source links and observation dates give you context for what you are seeing.
- Brand advertising where supported.
- Source-labeled creator partnerships where available.
- Relevant creative from supported adjacent categories.
| Source | What it covers | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Ad Library | Advertiser-scoped ads, with start dates, platforms and EU reach where the source reports it | Live |
| TikTok Creative Center | Category-scoped top ads, matched to advertisers where possible | In integration |
| TikTok Commercial Content Library | Advertiser-scoped paid ads, strongest in the EU | In integration |
| Instagram and TikTok partnership posts | Source-labeled creator partnerships | In integration |
Coverage is not exhaustive and changes as sources change. A source marked in integration is built and tested against recorded data but is not yet contributing to live feeds.
Different signals answer different questions.
| Signal | What it can tell you | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Ad longevity | An ad has remained visible or active over an observed period | Profitable acquisition or a specific spend level |
| Related variants | A brand is reusing or exploring a creative concept | That each variant succeeded |
| Reported reach | The source reports delivery to an audience within a stated scope | Revenue, conversions, or ROAS |
| New creative | A new execution or message has appeared | Proven effectiveness |
| Visible partnership | A source identifies a commercial relationship | Its fee, exclusivity, or sales impact |
Here's why we'd test it.
Foql analyzes creative elements such as the hook, demonstration, objection, and call to action. It uses those patterns and your brand context to suggest an adaptation. That recommendation is an interpretation you can review, not a guarantee of performance.
Observed
Several related executions use a routine-led opening.
Interpretation
The brand may be exploring routine as a recurring creative angle.
Suggested test
Show where your product fits before introducing its benefits.
Be clear about what the data cannot show.
Public visibility is incomplete. Some content is unavailable, source coverage changes, and a competitor’s campaign economics are usually private. Foql does not present inferred spend, conversion rates, or ROAS as verified facts.
An idea can work differently for another brand, audience, or offer. Use the evidence to choose a test, then use your own campaign results to judge the outcome.
Adapt the pattern with your own materials.
Foql’s production workflow uses original scripts, authorized assets, and selected AI creators. References inform the creative approach without transferring the source creator’s identity, footage, or script into your ad.
Product claims should be supported by the information your team provides. Review scripts and finished videos before launch, including any statements Foql flags for attention.
The source comes along.
Whether you’re viewing a card in Foql or receiving a summary from your agent, the evidence should stay attached to the idea. Source references, observation dates, coverage, and claim flags help you inspect the reasoning.
Your agent may interpret a finding differently. Check the underlying source before treating that interpretation as fact. Foql’s public-data limits apply equally to both experiences.
